Meet Our Host, Jonathan Aymin
Thank you for checking out The Venue RX Podcast! I’m Jonathan Aymin, a passionate entrepreneur dedicated to empowering wedding venues and event businesses to thrive. Born and raised in Texas, I’m a family man who enjoys riding my Harley, off-roading in my Bronco, grilling, and sipping bourbon—especially while brainstorming innovative ways to improve business operations. And yes, I have a weakness for anything with buffalo sauce!
My journey in the wedding industry began nearly a decade ago in staffing, and it has been an exciting adventure ever since. Today, I’m proud to serve wedding venues and their owners through The Venue RX Podcast and my company, Common Sense Events. Based in Southern California, our full-service venue management and consulting company delivers strategic insights and turnkey solutions, with a growing national presence. I’m privileged to run the business alongside my wife, Julianna, as we juggle entrepreneurship and the joy of raising our six amazing children.
Currently based in San Diego, our family is preparing for an exciting move to Alabama in January 2025. I’m thrilled to bring you along on this journey as we document, explore, and share best practices for building world-class wedding venues and redefining success in the wedding and events industry!

One of our core values is to speak the truth with love. This core value specifically mentions mutual respect, honor, and consideration and our team members, associates, and vendors are required to hold themselves to a high standard at all times in service of our clients. We make every effort to accommodate a variety of needs at our venues and have taken steps to ensure that all our venue websites are regularly checked for ADA and WCAG 2.1 compliance. If you feel like we have missed something, have suggestions on ways we can better serve our community and clients, or notice anything we can do to serve our clients better, please let us know by emailing: hr@cseventservices.com.
