Prior to starting Merri, Randi spent her career in ecommerce (Jet.com, Walmart.com, Macys.com), which allowed her to bring a really unique perspective to the events industry. She saw an opportunity to build a marketplace across all categories involved in designing an event—furniture rentals, linens, lighting, florals, and décor—and allow people to discover items in an immersive 3D environment.
